Manchester alt-rock icons Oasis have garnered five nominations for the 2005 Q Awards. The band will be competing with Coldplay, James Blunt, Green Day and U2 for such awards as Best Track and Best Album.The awards, which will be hosted at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday October 10, are voted for by the public.
