In the worst news since Kidz Bop hit the market, I have learned that Weezer's 'Island in the Sun' has been covered by 15 year old Emma Roberts and will be featured in the soundtrack to the tweenster comedy Aquamarine.When asked about her initial feelings towards covering the tune, Roberts said:
"I was like 'Yeah, I guess.' I had heard it a trillion times so I know it by heart already. I like Weezer so it was cool."
Eloquent words for such a young lady. Aquamarine hits theaters this Friday.
